China always supported Pakistan in hour of need: Pakistani Energy Minister
Islamabad: Federal Minister for Energy, Engineer Khurram Dastagir Khan has said that China had always supported Pakistan in the hour of need.
“All out efforts would be made to further strengthen ties with friendly countries. China has always supported us in the hour of need. Saudi Arabia has also been helpful,” he added.
The minister maintained that the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz)-led government was utilizing all available resources to end (electricity) load-shedding from the country and China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will play a role in this effort.
“The people would enjoy relief in load shedding period from next few days,” the minister said in a media interaction.
The minister informed that the incumbent government has made proper arrangements for injecting 2000 mega watt electricity in the system.
He mentioned that 70 percent load-shedding would be removed after injecting extra mega watt into national grid system.
About foreign policy issues, he hoped, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, would run the foreign affairs in a smooth manner as the Foreign Minister.
