Govt committed to every CPEC project: Interior Minister
Faisalabad: Interior Minister Rana Sana Ullah Khan has said that the government was committed to every small or big project related to the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Addressing an Eid Milan party in Chak No 66-JB Dhandra here, he stressed that there is a need to be practical rather than only painted a rosy picture and make false promises which prove a total failure.
“We have wasted so many years regarding the CPEC (due to slow work by Pakistan£. We need to focus now,” he contended.
The Interior Minister maintained that the government also has to deal with the skyrocketing inflation, unemployment, lawlessness and corruption.
“Our economy needs special attention. The burden of foreign loans has become unbearable only because of previous ill-conceived policies,” Khan mentioned.
He underscored that the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) chief Nawaz Sharif had served the masses as Prime Minister three times in the past and gifted landmark project of motorway.
Member Provincial Assembly (MPA) Mian Ajmal Asif and others were also present at the event.
