Italy: The Kardashians have fully embraced la dolce vita style

Venice: This weekend, the entire Kardashian clan arrived in Portofino, Italy to celebrate Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker’s wedding (the couple announced their engagement in October last year, and had a non-legal Vegas ceremony in April this year). And while all eyes will certainly be on the bride when she soon walks down the aisle—the wedding is reportedly being held at Portofino’s Castello Brown castle today—the sisters and Kris have all made sure to embrace la dolce vita style ahead of time during their trip.

Now, it’s not unusual for the Kardashians to coordinate looks, and for their Italian getaway, the stylish siblings have all decided to wear vintage designs from Dolce & Gabbana’s archive. Yesterday, Kourtney emerged on the Portofino streets wearing the Italian label’s black mini dress with imagery of the Virgin Mary on the bodice, complete with a gothic black veil. Later in the evening, she then switched into a sheer, red floor-length gown from the label’s spring 1998 collection.

Kim chose an outfit that matched her own distinct style, instead of going for the glamorous Italian aesthetic Dolce is known for. She wore a strappy bra top and leggings by the label—she’s a big fan of athleisure, after all—as well as a sheer, black gown with sleeves to match. Khloe, meanwhile, has worn a vampier, fitted leopard dress with a built-in corset, as well an off-the-shoulder top, printed skirt, and thigh-high boots.

The Jenners have also done vintage Dolce their own way. Kylie wore a fitted black LBD with racing-stripe boots and a bag from the label’s spring 2001 collection. For their yacht outing, she also sported a floral-print gown from the ’90s, complete with summery sandals and a wicker bag. Kendall gravitated towards sleek pieces—like a floral two-piece skirt suit for day, and a strapless black gown with a tulle skirt and hefty cross necklace for night. Each sister has nailed easy, care-free glamour, but in a way that suits their own tastes. You could say their flood of looks have almost been a sight to see as much as Portofino’s jaw-dropping coast.
