Quetta: Central leader of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Chaudhry Naeem Karim said on Monday afternoon Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had multiplied the work speed on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects.

The PML-N leader maintained that the PM had directed to expedite work on the maga project as soon as he assumed power in April.

“CPEC project is a game changer for Pakistan and especially Balochistan,” he added.

Karim mentioned that whenever the PML-N came to power in the country’s history, “it (the PML-N) started to pay special attention to the development of Balochistan. The Prime Minister has already paid three visits to the province during last three months.”

In a statement, he underlined that completion of Gwadar CPEC project would create new employment opportunities and would usher in a new era of development and prosperity in Balochistan.

“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif immediately made two visits to Gwadar after assuming power and ordered quick work on Gwadar CPEC projects,” Karim mentioned.

He hoped that the CPEC project would be completed soon which would benefit the people of Balochistan.
