PML-N instrumental in mega projects like CPEC: Maryam Nawaz
Lahore: Ruling Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Vice President Maryam Nawaz has said that the PML-N had been instrumental in mega projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), Metro Bus, Orange Line Train and Motorways.
Addressing a public rally here, she maintained that on completion, the CPEC would bring jobs and prosperity in Pakistan.
“The PML-N has delivered with mega projects like CPEC (with the massive investment of China), Metro Bus, Orange Line Train, Motorways and others to the people of the country. We will keep up the good work,” she contended.
PML-N vice president remarked that Punjab provincial government led by Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz was making efforts to facilitate the people of the province by providing subsidy on edible oil, pulses, flours and medicines. “CM Punjab Hamza Shehbaz will also announce Punjab’s mega relief package tomorrow (July 4),” she informed.
Maryam Nawaz said that the PML-N-led coalition government had to take tough decisions including increase in petroleum prices with heavy heart because of financial commitments with the international lenders.
“Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has given an assurance that as soon as even a dollar in the rate of crude oil drops, he would bring the price of gasoline down in the country,” she underscored.
The PML-N leader said that the federal and Punjab governments will provide relief to the masses with pro-people policies.
