Shazia Marri urges ECP to announce its judgment in PTI’s foreign funding case

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety and Central Information Secretary of PPPP Shazia Atta Marri has urged the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) for announcing its “long delayed” verdict in the prohibited foreign funding case against the Pakistan Tehrek-e-Insaf. She said that Election Commission of Pakistan should not delay in the announcement of judgment on PTI’s foreign funding case. Ms Marri questioned that why is Imran Khan running away to face the foreign funding case?. “The issue of funding from prohibited accounts is causing chaos and unrest in the country”, she added. This she expressed in an important statement issued hereon today. She said PTI chief Imran Khan is exerting pressure on Election Commission of Pakistan to influence the foreign funding case. While asking question from PTI, she said that if Imran Khan is not a theif then why do they take injunctions from the courts? BRT, Malam Jabba, Billion Tree project were mega corruption scams of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s regime and Imran Khan is playing the character of noisy theif, she claimed. Shazia Marri uttered that they will not allow Imran Khan to make the country’s a plank of exercise and said that Imran Khan and his company’s more than four years incompetent rule have brought the country to this current position and now, the country’s economy can not longer afford more experiments.
