Chinese Company Hytera to install top-of-the-line equipment and communication system at NGIA

Gwadar: Chinese Company Hytera will install top-of-the-line equipment and communication system for the New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA) before its completion next year.

According to the contract, Hytera will equip NGIA with 1 DIB-R5 Compact Tetra Base Station, Smart One Dispatch System and multiple portable radios, mobile radios as well as repeaters.

The NGIA, built across an area of 4,300 acres, is expected to become the largest airport in Pakistan after its completion on 2023 and is one of the main projects under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).

The airport will be equipped with an advanced communications system from Chinese Company Hytera, a leading global provider of professional communications technologies and solutions.

To ensure the safety of passengers and employees both on the ground and in the air, the Hytera airport communications solution was chosen to provide reliable and robust communication for the NGIA.

The project marked another milestone of Hytera’s progress in the airport industry and the Pakistani market. Its roster of clients in the airport industry includes Qatar Airways, Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport (PMIA) Airport, Hong Kong Airport, Vienna Airport, Charles de Gaulle Airport, and Helsinki Airport.

Earlier, Director General Gwadar Development Authority (GDA) Mujeebur Rehman Qambrani detailed the various other mega activities in Gwadar and glimpsed the future of the geostrategic future corridor of energy, trade, and logistics to center 70% of the world.

With a view to closely interact with the business community of the upcountry, Mujeeb Qambrani this week visited Lahore’s major industrial associations, textile bodies, auto parts manufacturers, chambers and trade bodies’ representatives, including Pakistan Industrial and Traders Associations Front (PIAF), the Businessmen Panel (BMP), Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Daroghawala Industrial Association, Sunder Industrial Estate and the members of the Transport Association.
