Pakistan and China making collective efforts for regional peace and prosperity: Senate chairman
Islamabad: Pakistan Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani has said that Pakistan and China were making collective efforts for regional peace and prosperity.
He made these comments during a meeting here with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Nong Rong.
The two sides reaffirmed the resolve to further strengthen their cooperation in diverse fields for mutual benefit. They also emphasized for collective efforts for regional peace and prosperity.
In his remarks, the Chairman Senate stressed that the strategic cooperative partnership between the two countries will take their relationship to new heights.
Sadiq Sanjrani mentioned that both the countries had always stood by each other in difficult times.
He underlined that Pakistan was committed to the timely completion of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He contended that the opponents of CPEC will not succeed in their designs. He maintained that providing protection to the Chinese workers in Pakistan was the top priority of the government.
On this occasion, the Chinese envoy said Pakistan was a close friend of China. He reiterated that his country desired to further strengthen relations with Pakistan. He pledged that China will continue its efforts for regional peace and prosperity.
