FM Bilawal Bhutto wants even stronger ties with Italy – Meets Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese

Islamabad: Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has stressed the need to enhance cooperation with Italy.

He expressed these views during his meeting with the Italian ambassador Andreas Ferrarese who called on him on Friday.

The Foreign Minister further said people to people contacts should also be strengthened between the two countries. He praised the role of the Ambassador in promoting the bilateral relations.

Ambassador Ferrarese said this year was the diamond jubilee of the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Italy.

There was a wonderful era of mutual political, economic, cultural and social relations between the two countries, he said.

Ambassador Ferrarese said that there was a need to pave the way for further development of relations between the two countries in many fields.
