Italy offers two free bus routes for Ukrainians from Italy to Ukraine
Rome: Ukrainian citizens in Italy will now be able to use two free bus lines to Ukraine. The news was announced through a statement issued by the information portal for help, VisitUkraine.today.
All Ukrainians who are in Italy and have decided to travel are warned that departure will be possible only with Ukrainian passports and reservations, SchengenVisaInfo.com reports.
In addition, the buses will depart from Rome on September 5 and September 10, while the departure time will be at 12.00.
Since the beginning of the war in Ukraine, Italy has shown support for the Ukrainian refugees fleeing their country, thus opening a platform for them to offer financial assistance for those that have not even arrived on February 24, 2022.
Italian authorities have also announced that Ukrainians under the temporary protection directive in Italy will be able to get a job or be eligible for unemployment benefits to better integrate these citizens into Italian society.
Recently, almost 100,000 free tickets were offered to Ukrainians to fly all over Europe by the Hungarian low-cost carrier WizzAir.
Ukrainians citizens can book their flights from September 15 to December 8 to more than 800 destinations with WizzAir, if they possess an international passport and an international certificate of vaccination against COVID-19.
In this regard, Ukrainians can travel to Europe, the United Kingdom and Georgia.
As VisitUkraine.today explains, even though the tickets are free, the system will ask passengers to enter their bank card details.
In addition, immediately after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine, Ukrainian citizens were given the right to travel to Germany without having to pay for tickets, as the state-owned Polish railway company PKP has announced that it offers free tickets to Ukrainians travelling to this country.
The company also stated that Ukrainians are now entitled to free second-class travel on nine daily trains connecting the Polish cities of Warsaw, Przemysl and Gdynia with the German capital Berlin as well as Frankfurt.
Previously, in August, a new railway connection was announced that would be opened between the capital of Poland, Warsaw, and the city of Rawa-Ruska, Ukraine, and the first trains will start running on August 24.
The implementation of this project turns out to be very important also regarding the current conditions regarding the state of war in Ukraine and the growing flow of immigrants in the region.
