Chinese envoy meets Pakistani minister, bilateral partnership highlighted

Islamabad: Chinese Ambassador Nong Rong called on Minister of State for Petroleum Dr Musadik Malik and discussed matters of mutual interest.

During the meeting, the minister highlighted the importance of Pakistan-China partnership and reiterated Pakistan’s commitment to increased cooperation in the energy sector, said an official statement.

The Minister of State said China had always supported Pakistan in tough times.

He mentioned that the government was committed to further strengthen bilateral ties with China.

He underscored that the government had also expedited work on China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
