China temporarily shuts Consular Section in Islamabad

Islamabad: China has announced a temporary closure of the Consular Section of its Embassy in Islamabad from today (Monday, February 13, 2023) until further notice.

China Embassy has issued a notice of Temporary Closure of the Consular Section on its website for the general public too.

The notice said, “Due to technical issues, the Consular Section of the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad will be temporarily closed from February 13, 2023, until further notice.

In case of emergency, please call 051-8496167 for questions about passport, travel documents, notarization and attestation. Applicants with other questions can also contact us at islamabad@csm.mfa.gov.cn.”
