CPC launches new round of disciplinary inspections
Beijing: As of Saturday, 15 teams of disciplinary inspectors have been assigned to positions on the ground, according to an official statement.
This is the first round of disciplinary inspections launched by the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC), targeting 30 centrally administered state-owned enterprises (SOEs), five financial agencies, and the General Administration of Sport of China.
During the inspections, efforts will be dedicated to finding principal contradictions and prominent issues hindering the high-quality development of central SOEs, solving prominent problems in the financial sector, and tackling corruption and deep institutional problems in sports.
The inspection teams will be stationed at their assigned units for approximately two and a half months or one and a half months, depending on the type of inspection they are set to carry out. Meanwhile, telephone lines and mailboxes will be set up to receive tip-offs on matters such as discipline violations by Party officials.
