Italy: Saudi offer for midfielder Verratti
Milan: Reports continue to circulate about Italy international Marco Verratti’s future away from PSG, as along with Roma, there is a huge offer on the table from Al-Hilal.
The midfielder has been in Paris since 2012 and only recently signed a new contract to June 2026.
However, the situation at the club is in flux with another new coach incoming and several star names on the way out, including Lionel Messi.
Verratti’s role is in doubt too now and there have already been reports of an approach from Jose Mourinho’s Roma for the loan with option to buy.
Now Sportitalia claim that Verratti has been targeted by the Saudi Ministry of Sports.
They have several clubs interested in signing the 30-year-old, with Al-Hilal said to be leading the way.
He is expected to take a few days to make a decision after he has completed international duty at the Nations League with Italy.
