Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese, Albana Ferrarse greet Muslims on Eid

Islamabad: Italy’s Ambassador to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese and his wife Albana Ferrarse on Wednesday wished the Muslims around the world, especially in Pakistan and Italy, a happy and blessed Eidul Azha.

In a joint statement, they said it was heartening to see how the Muslims gather to celebrate this festival with their friends and family in joyful atmosphere.

They mentioned that Italy was a home to thousands of Muslims, and Italy appreciated the contribution by the Muslim community to the development of humanitarian ties with the foreign countries, including Pakistan.

“On behalf of the Italian Embassy and ourselves, we would like to extend warm wishes and sincere greetings on Eidul Azha to the Pakistani and Italian Muslims as well as pilgrims performing Hajj,” the joint statement said.
