World envoys condole with Shafqat Ali on father’s death
Islamabad: Envoys of various countries on Monday condoled the death of senior journalist Shafqat Ali’s father.
In separate messages to Shafqat Ali, the envoys expressed condolences and prayed for the departed soul.
In his message, Andreas Ferrarese, Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan wrote: “ Dear friend, please accept my deepest condolences.
May your father rest in peace.”
Acting British High commissioner Andrew Dalgleish said: “Dear Shafqat, please accept my sincere condolences. I share with you in the grief you are feeling. It is never easy to lose a parent. My prayers are with you.”
Ambassador Of Japan wada Mitsuhiro wrote: “Deepest condolences to you and your family.”
Deputy Ambassador of Denmark Simon Fasterkjaer Kjeldsen said: “Sorry to hear. My condolences on your loss.”
Adam Tugio, Ambassador of Indonesia wrote: “Dear Brother Ali Shafqat, I would like to offer my deepest sympathy to you and your family for the passing of your beloved father. Let me offer Al Fatehah for him. May the soul of your beloved father rest in peace. I wish you and your family courage and peace during this time of mourning.”
Senior European Union diplomat Daniel Clauss said:
“Dear Shafqat, I’m terrible for your loss! I wish you and your family strength in this difficult times.”
European Union spokesperson Belgium Peter Stano said: “That is a very sad news Shafqat, I am very sorry for this, my sincere condolences! May he rest in peace. We all know this moment will come with each of our loved ones and ultimately also for ourselves, yet it is always very difficult and I am with you in this hard time and sending you my prayers and sympathies.”
Deputy Director-General of the Department of Boundary and Ocean Affairs of China Zhao Lijian wrote: “Please accept my deep condolences. May his soul rests in eternal peace!”
Senior Chinese diplomat Liu Chang wrote: “Extremely sorry to hear that. Please convey my heart felt condolence to your family. May Allah be with him
In his message, Yemen Ambassador to Pakistan Mohammed Motahar Alashabi said: “Dear brother Shafqat Ali. My sincere condolences to you and your family & relatives for you beloved respected father. May Allah rest his soul in the paradise and endow you patience to overcome this circumstances.”
