Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed, Umar Rehman Malik condole with Shafqat Ali on father’s death

Islamabad: Senior Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) leader Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed on Monday condoled with prominent journalist Shafqat Ali on his father’s death.

In a message, Senator Mushahid Hussain Syed – who is the chairman of the Senate Defence Committee, wrote: “Dear Shafqat sahib: shocked & saddened to hear this tragic news! Truly an irreparable loss! My heartfelt condolences, I am traveling outside Pakistan otherwise I would have certainly joined the Namaz E Janaza. May The Almighty Grant you strength to bear this loss, and May The Almighty Grant him a place of honour in Jannatul Firdous, Ameen.”

Separately, known financial expert Umar Rehman Malik sent a condolence message to Shafqat Ali.

“Dear Shafqat Ali, we are deeply saddened by the news of your beloved father’s demise. Our deepest condolences to you and your family. May the departed soul rest in peace, and may Allah give you the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” he wrote.
