Fabio Panetta appointed as governor of Bank of Italy

Islamabad: Italian President Sergio Mattarella has signed a decree to appoint Fabio Panetta, an executive board member of the European Central Bank, as governor of the Bank of Italy, as of November 1, the bank said in a statement on Tuesday.
