Sherry Rehman condoles death of Shafqat Ali’s father

Islamabad: Senator Sherry Rehman, the Vice President of the Pakistan People’s Party, Tuesday paid a visit to The Nation/Nawa-i-Waqt offices to offer condolences on the passing of the father of senior journalist Shafqat Ali.

During her visit, the Senator spent some time with Shafqat Ali and his colleagues, offering prayers for the peaceful rest of the departed soul.

Reflecting on the situation, the former federal minister mentioned that the loss of a parent is an irreparable tragedy and encouraged Shafqat Ali and his family to remain resilient.
