Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar condemns vandalism of Churches
Islamabad: Senior politician Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar on Wednesday condemned the vandalism of churches in Faisalabad’s Jaranwala.
“I strongly condemn the recent vandalism of churches in Faisalabad’s Jaranwala. If justice had been served in cases like Joseph Colony and Gojra tragedy earlier, perhaps we wouldn’t be witnessing this unfortunate day today,” he said.
He added: “The repetition of the same statements and condemnations underscores how hatred has been allowed to flourish over the years. It’s disheartening to see that instead of appropriate accountability, the accused were adorned with necklaces and flowers.”
Mustafa said, “This prompts us to question the outcome of such gestures. Such acts of violence and desecration are a stain on our collective conscience and must be condemned unequivocally.”
