NA Speaker inaugurates provision of transportation facilities to Government Associate College for Women, Manghot Gujar Khan

Islamabad: Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has said that education is cardinal factor women empowerment.

He also said that provision of basic facilities to promote women education would enhance women literacy rate across the country. He added, ” provision of transportation facilities to girls students in Gujar Kahn who even travel for Forty KM to reach the college would encourage them to complete their education.’

He expressed these views while addressing a public gathering in connection with provision of transport services to Government Associate College for Girls Manghot, Gujar Khan Saturday.

It is pertinent to mention that Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf visited Government Associate College for Girls Manghot on 30th May 2023 . During the visit the students and faculty members raised the issue of transport problems to girls students. Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf has assured them for provision of transportation facilities. Consequently, He raised the issue of travel difficulties faced by the students of Government Associate college for Girls Manghot before the former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

The provision of these buses will resolve the travel difficulties faced by the students coming from far away and they will be able to participate in their educational activities more enthusiastically . This facility would also encourage girls students to continue their education and complete their education.

The people of the area, students and their parents have expressed their gratitude to Speaker National Assembly Raja Pervez Ashraf for the promotion of girls education in Gujjar Khan and its adjacent areas and the development of the area.
