Sanjrani stresses strengthening Pakistan-UK parliamentary ties for mutual learning, collaboration

Islamabad: The Chairman Senate Muhammad Sadiq Sanjrani, here on Thursday highlighted the importance of strengthening parliamentary ties between Pakistan and the United Kingdom to facilitate mutual learning and collaboration.

The chairman expressed these views during a meeting with a delegation from the British Parliament. The delegation included Shadow Minister and MP Naz Shah, Sam Terry MP, Andrew Gwynne MP, and Raja Najabat Hussain, Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir Self Determination Movement International (JKSDMI). During the meeting, both parties engaged in constructive discussions regarding a range of topics aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.

The historic relations between Pakistan and the United Kingdom were revisited, underscoring the importance of the enduring bond between the two nations. Both Sides emphasized the need for enhanced bilateral cooperation in Trade and Economy. Chairman Senate termed the relations between the two countries as historic and deep-rooted. The delegation while expressing gratitude stressed frequent Parliamentary exchanges and institutional linkages.
