PM leaves for Pakistan after wrapping visit to KSA

Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar on Friday departed to Pakistan after concluding his 3-day visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Badr bin Sultan, Ambassador of Pakistan and senior officials of the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah were present at the airport to see off the prime minister, PM Office Media Wing said in a press release.

Earlier, on Thursday night, the prime minister had performed Umrah in Makkah Mukarrama and prayed for the prosperity and progress of Pakistan and harmony among the Muslim Ummah. As a special gesture of respect for Pakistan and the prime minister, the door of Khana-e-Ka’aba was opened and the prime minister got the honour to pray inside the holiest place. On his X handle, the prime minister prayed for the acceptance of his Umrah. He felt obliged for paying respects at the Roza e Rasool (SAW), Khana-e-Ka’aba and performing of Umrah.
