EU occupied by squatters, united right will free it-Salvini

Florence: The European Union is occupied by squatters and the united right will free it, League chief Matteo Salvini told a rally of his rightwing Identity and Democracy (ID) caucus in Florence Sunday, eyeing a historic win at next year’s European Parliament elections.

“Next year, for the first time in the history of the European institutions, the united and determined centre-right can free Brussels from those who occupy it illegally,” Salvini told the Free Europe! event of the ID group in the European Parliament.

Centre-right Forza Italia leader Antonio Tajani has ruled out working with some ID members including anti-Islam Dutch election winner Geert Wilders.
