Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese pledges to ease work visas process in near future

Islamabad, December 27: Ambassador of Italy to Pakistan Andreas Ferrarese has pledged to ease work visas process in the near future.

In a recent meeting with Punjab Caretaker Minister Mohsin Naqvi, he delved into the realms of culture, tourism, and trade, illuminating a path towards stronger bilateral ties.

As the two dignitaries exchanged thoughts, plans were set in motion to foster cooperation through the exchange of numerous trade and cultural delegations.

Ambassador Andreas Ferrarese, with a vision for mutual growth, reiterated his commitment to supporting Pakistan in acquiring an extension of the GSP+ status, a gesture warmly acknowledged by Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

In the spirit of friendship, Minister Naqvi expressed gratitude for Italy’s unwavering support and envisioned a transformation of their amicable relations into a robust economic partnership. Recognizing the intrinsic link between cultural and trade sectors, he emphasized the Punjab government’s aspiration to elevate collaboration with Italy.

Ambassador Ferrarese revealed that the Trade Commission had initiated efforts to enhance mutual trade, emphasizing measures to streamline the acquisition of work visas.

The ambassador’s vow to further promote cooperation in cultural, tourism, and trade sectors painted a promising future for the partnership between Italy and Pakistan.

A significant highlight emerged as Minister Naqvi welcomed Italian cooperation in providing training to police liaison officers, underscoring the importance of a proactive role by the Trade Commission.

The CM shared plans for a one-window operation to facilitate investment in Punjab, inviting Italian investors to explore opportunities in the region.
