Zardari expresses confidence in PPP’s potential to secure victory on Feb 8
Multan: Former president Asif Ali Zardari Saturday expressed confidence in PPP’s potential to secure victory in Feb 8 elections through the collective strength of the public.
Highlighting the significance of parliamentary strength, the former president underscored that the essence of democracy lies in a robust and empowered parliament, attributing the foundation of people’s rule during his presidency to the delegation of all powers to the parliament.
Addressing a gathering, Zardari outlined the party’s manifesto, focusing on addressing issues such as inflation and unemployment with the ultimate goal of enhancing prosperity for the people. He announced plans for Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and himself to address a public meeting in Multan on January 26.
PPP co-chairman also engaged with local party leaders in a strategic meeting before his departure.
During the session, PPP South Punjab Senior Vice President Khawaja Rizwan Alam, Chief Coordinator South Punjab Abdul Qadir Shaheen, and District General Secretary Rao Sajid Ali presented swords as a token.
