PAT announces support for Bilawal Bhutto

Lahore: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) has officially declared its support for Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), in the NA-127 constituency.

This endorsement was announced by Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, the Secretary General of PAT, who disclosed plans for a public rally in Lahore to publicly express their backing. Gandapur emphasized the alignment of PAT’s position with PPP’s principled stance on the Model Town incident and their rejection of the politics of revenge associated with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

During a visit to the Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed his aspiration to modernize Pakistan and maintain positive relations with Minhaj-ul-Quran. He also advocated for an impartial investigation into the Model Town incident, a matter on which PPP and PAT share common ground.
