OECD household income down 0.2%, but up 1.4% in Italy Q3
Rome: Median real household income across the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development fell 0.2% in the third quarter of 2023, the OECD said Thursday, but it rose 1.4% in Italy.
According to the OECD, the Italian result is mainly due to the “increase in compensation of payroll employees and the income of the self-employed”.
Italian household income had fallen by 0.4% in the previous quarter, the OECD said.
As for real GDP, it rose by 0.1 % in Italy against -0.3 % in the previous quarter.
