Zardari congratulates Barrister Gohar on election victory

Former President Asif Ali Zardari extended his heartfelt congratulations to PTI central leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan for his resounding success in the elections. Barrister Gohar, an independent candidate, secured a significant majority in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Federation, and Punjab, earning praise from the seasoned politician.

According to media reports, Asif Ali Zardari conveyed his congratulations to Barrister Gohar Ali Khan through a mutual friend, applauding his victory. The former president also shared good wishes for Barrister Gohar Ali in a message underscoring the significance of his triumph.

In response to his victory, Barrister Gohar Ali Khan, a leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI), expressed confidence in forming the government in the Federation and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Emphasizing the importance of a fair government formation, he stated that the PTI message is clear – they do not accept subjugation. Addressing a press conference on Saturday, Barrister Gohar asserted that only 10% of the results had been reported by noon and urged the swift announcement of all election results.
