Islamabad: The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) on Tuesday constituted the six-member committee to hold talks with the political parties.
The approval for the establishment of the committee was given by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.
Among those who were included in the committee are Qamar Zaman Kaira, Murad Ali Shah, Sanaullah Zehri, Shuja Khan, Saeed Ghani, and Nadeem Afzal Chan.
Separately, Bilawal said that the PPP did not have enough mandate to become the prime ministerial candidate.
Addressing the press conference in Islamabad, the former foreign minister said: “The PPP is determined to steer the country into the doldrums.”
Speaking about any possibility of alliance with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Bhutto-Zardari said: “The PTI had made an announcement of not negotiating with the PPP.”
