Islamabad: The coordination committees of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) met here on Saturday.
The meeting, which was intended to finalise the formation of a coalition government, also assessed the current political situation in the country, according to sources.
During the meeting, there was also a discussion regarding the PPP’s nominations for constitutional positions.
The PPP requested time from the PML-N to finalise their nominations for these positions.
The PML-N committee demanded inclusion in the cabinet, while members of the PPP committee apologised for their inability to take ministries.
Despite efforts, the PML-N committee could not convince the PPP committee to accept ministries.
