Saudi air force prepares for combat exercise in Greece
Riyadh: The Royal Saudi Air Force will join forces from several countries in a mixed combat air exercise at the Air Tactics Center in Greece in April.
Lt. Gen. Turki bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, commander of the RSAF, inspected the preparations of the participating air force group before its departure from King Fahad Air Base in the Western Sector, the Saudi Press Agency reported on Saturday.
Iniochos 2024 is one of the largest exercises in Europe, and the RSAF will take part with six Typhoon aircraft, along with full air, technical, and support crews, he said.
The exercise aims to elevate readiness levels and combat efficiency; exchange and acquire experience for air, technical, and support crews; and train in planning and executing complex air operations involving mixed multinational forces, the commander added.
