British High Commissioner Jane Marriott felicitates Pakistani nation on Eid

Islamabad – British High Commissioner Jane Marriott has felicitated Pakistani nation on the occasion of the Eidul Fitr.

This is her first Ramazan and Eid in Pakistan since her appointment as high commissioner to the South Asian country. “Eid Mubarak! This has been my first Ramzan and Eid in Pakistan, and I’ve been inspired by the spirit of generosity, hospitality and charity across Pakistan during this special month. The variety of sweet dishes doesn’t hurt either!” she said in her Eid message.

Earlier in the day, top diplomats from the United States and Australia on Wednesday congratulated Pakistani nationals on the eve of the Eidul Fitr 2024.

Australian High Commissioner to Pakistan Neil Hawkins in a message on x said, “On the hunt for the best mithai on this meethi Eid. Hope your Eid is as sweet as mine. Go team Gulab Jamun!”
