Italy-Tunisia: Memorandum of Understanding signed to strengthen cooperation in education
Rome: During his mission in Tunisia, the Minister of Education and Merit, Giuseppe Valditara, met her Tunisian counterpart, Salwa Abassi. According to the Italian embassy in Tunis, during the bilateral meeting, the two signed a memorandum of understanding to strengthen cooperation in the education sector with new teaching initiatives and a focus on the training of Italian-speaking Tunisian teachers.
Valditara participated yesterday morning in the inauguration of the 38th edition of the Tunis International Book Fair, chaired by the head of state Kais Saied, with whom he had a “very cordial conversation in the wake of the strong 360-degree partnership between Italy and Tunisia”, declared the head of Education. Valditara also underlined that Italy’s participation in the Fair as a guest of honor reaffirms, through culture, the strong bond between the two countries.
