EU-Friend of Kashmiris Ambassador Anthony Crasner dies, Condolences from KCEU’s Chair Ali Raza Syed
Brussels: Former senior EU diplomat and European friend and Sympathizer of Kashmiris Ambassador Anthony Crasner has passed away in Brussels, the European Headquarter on Thursday.
Late Ambassador Crasner was also the Senior Advisor to Kashmir Council Europe (KCEU) and he defended the rights of the oppressed people of occupied Kashmir at the European Headquarters in Brussels for a long time.
In a condolence message, Chairman Kashmir Council Europe Ali Raza Syed said, it is with great sadness that I learned of the passing of our true friend Ambassador Anthony Crasner. On behalf of all team members of KCEU and entire Kashmiri nation, I send deepest condolences to the Ambassador Crasner’s family at this difficult time.
Ali Raza Syed said, Late Ambassador Crasner strongly supported Kashmiris in European Union and other European institutions and his struggle for the rights of oppressed Kashmiris in Europe is unforgettable.
He said, the late ambassador was a diplomat, intellectual, compassionate, benevolent and tolerant person and stood with us in the peaceful and diplomat movement of Kashmir in Europe.
Through his determined efforts, the ambassador earned respected among the oppressed Kashmiris, facing hardships due to brutal act of state terrorism in Illegally Indian occupation of their homeland, Ali Raza Syed said.
Ali Raaz Syed added, my thoughts and prayers are with his family. May his soul rest in peace.
