Bulgaria’s eLando partners with Fimple to enter new markets
Sofia: Bulgarian IT services provider eLando said on Monday it has entered a strategic partnership with UK-based fintech Fimple to expand into Asia, Africa and South America.
The initiative aims to integrate Fimple’s cloud-core banking platform into financial institutions in emerging markets in the three continents, enhancing accessibility and efficiency, eLando said in a press release. The Bulgarian firm will work on improving digital banking platforms and driving innovation and efficiency across financial services.
The partnership with Fimple is part of eLando’s growth, following a 750,000 euro ($813,302) investment from local venture capital fund New Vision 3 and software company IT Soft earlier this year.
“At eLando, we are committed to developing customised digital solutions for various sectors, thereby providing a significant improvement in banking services where they are most needed. Our experience in software development and digital transformation combined with Fimple’s banking technologies will help us offer not only scalable but also secure solutions that will meet the ever-evolving needs of today’s market,” eLando CEO Stanimir Boychev said.
Founded in 2016, eLando specialises in software engineering services and creating innovative digital products, with offices in Sofia, Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Shumen.
London-headquartered Fimple, founded in 2022, provides a cloud-native core banking platform to address challenges within the financial sector, according to its LinkedIn profile.
