PM Shehbaz, President Zardari condemn Kurram Attack

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of five Pakistan Army soldiers in Kurram District.

The soldiers embraced martyrdom after an improvised explosive device (IED) targeted their vehicle in the general area of Sadda in Kurram District, according to the military’s media wing.

In a statement, PM Shehbaz strongly condemned the attack and vowed to continue the war against terrorism until its complete elimination.

President Asif Ali Zardari also strongly condemned the bomb attack in Kurram District and paid tribute to the security personnel who embraced martyrdom.

In his statement, the president commended the patriotism and sense of duty of the martyrs as well as the crucial role of security forces in eradicating terrorism from the country.

He expressed his resolve to uproot terrorism from Pakistan’s soil, stating that the operations of law enforcement agencies would continue until the menace is completely eradicated.

Both leaders offered their heartfelt condolences to the families of the martyrs, praying for their patience and courage.

They also prayed for the highest ranks for the martyrs in paradise, reaffirming the nation’s commitment to honouring their sacrifices and continuing the fight against terrorism.
