Chinese delegation expresses keen interest to beautify, solarise Islamabad
Islamabad: A delegation from China has expressed keen interest in developing a cutting-edge theme park in the Federal Capital Islamabad, aiming to enhance both the beauty and infrastructure of the city.
The delegation met with Muhammad Ali Randhawa, the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, to explore various investment opportunities.
Their discussions included the potential to shift the CDA office building and streetlights throughout the city to solar power.
Chairman Randhawa extended a warm welcome to the Chinese investors, appreciating the investment from a friendly nation like China.
Emphasizing the importance of the proposed theme park, Randhawa highlighted its financial viability as a crucial factor for the project’s success.
He lauded China’s initiative to invest in Pakistan, noting the mutual benefits such investments could bring.
Randhawa instructed that information regarding the conversion of CDA offices to solar power be shared with the Chinese delegation, said an official statement.
He announced plans to seek expert advice from the Ministry of Energy to ensure the development of a robust and efficient solar conversion strategy.
