Gillani condemns terrorist attack on Bannu cantonment

Islamabad: Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gillani condemned the terrorist attack on Bannu Cantonment and expressed deep condolences and sympathy to the families of the martyred soldiers.

In a statement on Tuesday, the Chairman wished for the speedy recovery of the injured personnel.

Yousaf Raza Gillani praised the effective response of law enforcement agencies, highlighting it as evidence of their selfless and unwavering commitment to the fight against terrorism.

He asserted that anti-state elements would never succeed in their nefarious plans, reaffirming that terrorists would not be allowed to destroy the peace of Pakistan.

He further said that the unparalleled sacrifices made by Pakistan’s security forces and citizens in the war against terrorism would not go in vain.
