Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry issues advisory about rise in Covid-19 cases in Greece

Sofia: Greece recently has seen a noticeable increase in the number of cases of Covid-19, Bulgaria’s Foreign Ministry situation centre said.

“In this regard and considering the large number of Bulgarian citizens visiting the country during the summer period, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends strict compliance with preventive and hygienic measures in the context of the spread of the disease,” the ministry said.

In the presence of symptoms of respiratory infections, it is recommended to limit contacts with people, especially those belonging to vulnerable groups of the population (the elderly, those with concomitant diseases and children), as well as timely consultation with a doctor in order to ensure timely treatment, it said.
