Gilani extends warm wishes to Egyptian parliament, people

Islamabad: Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani on Tuesday extended heartfelt congratulations and warm wishes to the Egyptian parliament, people, and government.

In his message on Egypt’s National Day, he highlighted the enduring friendship and cooperation between Pakistan and the Arab Republic of Egypt, expressing the desire to further strengthen ties between the two brotherly nations. The Chairman also conveyed prayers for Egypt’s continued progress and prosperity.

He said, “Both countries share strong and historic ties, marked by mutual respect and cooperation across various fields. We have consistently supported each other on numerous international platforms, reflecting the depth of our relationship.”

He added, “I am hopeful that our friendship and collaboration will continue to grow towards achieving common goals and ensuring prosperity for both our nations.”
