Islamabad: The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) and the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) have joined hands to explore avenues for enhanced collaboration.

This was agreed during a meeting between Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Chairperson Senator Rubina Khalid and National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) Chairman Lieutenant General Muhammad Munir Afsar held here.

The key areas of cooperation agreed upon during the meeting include NADRA’s full support for BISP’s initiative to deploy Mobile Registration Vans (MRVs) in remote regions, especially in Balochistan and Sindh.

This collaboration aims to enhance the accessibility of BISP services in these areas.

Additionally, BISP and NADRA staff will be deployed in union councils where NADRA is implementing its pilot project, which aims to amplify BISP’s outreach and ensure increased beneficiary registration.

Furthermore, NADRA will provide requisite support at BISP provincial offices to address issues faced by BISP beneficiaries related to NADRA services.

This enhanced cooperation will further streamline operations, reinforcing the collective mission of both organizations to serve the citizens more effectively.

Senator Rubina Khalid expressed her gratitude for NADRA’s support and emphasized the importance of this collaboration in improving service delivery to the citizens.
