Shehbaz Sharif provided various opportunities to empower Youth; Chairman PMYP

Islamabad: Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Program(PMYP) Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan said on Monday that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has provided youth with many opportunities, resources, and support.
Talking to the media at the Youth Festival organised to celebrate International Youth Day at Pak China Friendship Center, he said the government under the dynamic leadership of the prime minister was taking various initiatives to highlight the potential and provide more employment and other opportunities to the youth.
He stated, “On this International Youth Day, we stand with the global community in celebrating the notable achievements of our youth.”
Mashhood affirmed PMYP’s commitment to creating an environment where youth can thrive, innovate, and lead.
The Chairman highlighted several existing and upcoming initiatives under the PMYP including, PM Skill Development Programs (NAVTTC), PM Youth Laptop Scheme, Pakistan Education Endowment Fund, Youth Business and Agriculture Loan Scheme, PM Youth Internship Program, National Innovation Award, setting up of the PM National Youth Council, PM National Volunteer Corps, PM Digital Youth Hub, PM Talent Hunt, Youth Sports League, PM Sports Academies, Green Energy Solarization and PM Green Youth Movement to empower the future generations.
He said that PMYP core components were structured around the “4E’s”: Education, Employment, Engagement, and Environment and these four pillars were the focus of the ongoing youth-focused initiatives across the country.
“Let us work together to ensure that the digital pathways they pursue today lead to a more prosperous and sustainable future for all”, he added.
Rana Mashhood affirmed his commitment that PMYP through various programs, initiatives, and capacity-building trainings was equipping the younger generation with the tools and knowledge required to overcome contemporary challenges and contribute to the development goals.
