208 fires extinguished in Bulgaria in past 24 hours, three injured

Sofia: A total of 208 fires were extinguished in Bulgaria during the past 24 hours, the General Directorate for Fire Safety and Protection of the Population said on its website. Fire crews responded to 247 reports of accidents.

Twenty-three of the fires during the day caused material damage, five of which were in residential buildings, four in auxiliary or temporary buildings, six in vehicles, etc. Some 185 fires caused no material damage. During the day, 32 rescue operations and assistance operations were carried out.

There were also seven hoax calls.
