Hebei Academy of Fine Arts and Quaid-i-Azam University sign MoU to strengthen cooperation
Islamabad: The Hebei Academy of Fine Arts (HAFA) and Pakistan’s Quaid-i-Azam University have taken a significant step towards strengthening academic and cultural ties by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).
This agreement marks the beginning of a collaborative partnership that will span various disciplines, including art, history, and archaeology.
The MoU outlines plans to establish the China-Pakistan Institute, which will serve as a hub for bilateral academic exchange. The partnership will facilitate a range of educational initiatives, including undergraduate and postgraduate programs, doctoral education, student and faculty exchanges, and short-term study trips.
Both institutions expressed high hopes for this collaboration, viewing it as a critical bridge for fostering greater understanding and friendship between the people of China and Pakistan.
The leaders of both institutions, Zhen Zhongyi, President of HAFA, and Niaz Ahmad Akhter, Vice-Chancellor of Quaid-i-Azam University, emphasized the importance of this cooperation in promoting cultural exchange and advancing art education on a global scale.
This MoU builds on previous collaborations, such as HAFA’s 2022 agreement with the University of Education Lahore, which aimed to enhance cultural education and exchange.
Through these efforts, both universities are committed to contributing to the global dialogue on art and culture, while also strengthening the bonds of friendship between China and Pakistan.
