Embassy of Pakistan in China hosts photo exhibition ‘Pakistan in frames: a visual journey by Chinese tour operators’
Islamabad: The Embassy of Pakistan in Beijing organized a captivating photo exhibition, titled “Pakistan in Frames: A Visual Journey by Chinese Tour Operators.”
The exhibition featured the rich cultural heritage and stunning landscapes of Pakistan, captured by a group of Chinese tour operators who visited Islamabad, Taxila, and Gilgit-Baltistan during the 2023 China-Pakistan Tourism Exchanges year.
The exhibition was themed around various aspects, including Pakistan’s Northern Splendor, Gandhara, and the enduring China-Pakistan friendship.
In his remarks, Ambassador Khalil Hashmi praised the remarkable photography by the Chinese tour operators, noting that the images not only showcased Pakistan’s breathtaking beauty but also highlighted the deep cultural and historical connections that strengthen mutual understanding between the two countries.
The Ambassador underscored that this exhibition symbolizes the shared dreams and aspirations of the people of both nations.
York Feng, representing Qyer.com and the group of tour operators, shared her cherished memories of Pakistan and emphasized the country’s tourism potential. Professor Li Xiguang, Director of the Pakistan Cultural Communication Centre at Tsinghua University, shared his experiences from his frequent travels to Pakistan, highlighting the country’s role as the cradle of ancient civilizations such as Gandhara and the Indus Valley.
The event was attended by a distinguished audience, including diplomats, artists, students, and media members, who appreciated the visual journey through Pakistan’s beauty. The Embassy has planned additional activities to further promote cultural exchanges between Pakistan and China.
