Italy orders 10 Samp/T missile systems : Crosetto

Rome: Defence Minister Guido Crosetto said Tuesday that Italy had ordered 10 new-generation Samp/T missile defence systems.

“We are also improving the Aster (programme),” he said, stressing that “it’s just a start but we are already behind because we are ready to live the challenge of these times.

“We are slow because we live in a world built on democratic systems which when compared with authoritarian ones are necessarily losers”.
