Prince William decides Prince Harry’s royal future ahead of UK trip
London: Prince William, who has not spoken to his estranged brother Prince Harry in two years, has seemingly made up his mind over his future in the royal family.
The Duke of Sussex, who is returning to UK in a few days’ time, reportedly hoped to return for a partial role in the royal family, after stepping down from his senior royal position four years ago.
The future king is still upset with Harry over his bombshell memoir, Spare, and for badmouthing his family in the public along with his “conniving” wife Meghan Markle.
Palace sources reveal how William is planning to handle Harry’s request, despite how their cancer-stricken father King Charles feels about it.
“William doesn’t think Harry has the smarts to handle even a reduced role in the Firm,” the insider told In Touch Weekly. “In other words, he thinks his brother is stupid and foolishly adheres to bad advice.”
The palace source went on to add that William is “astonished” how is brother is easily manipulated by Meghan and is oblivious of the consequences of his action.
“William wondered why his brother would burn bridges with his family and the opportunities royal life gave him and his wife to further the humanitarian causes they claim to support,” the source told the outlet. “He came to the conclusion Harry is too dense to see the damage he’s done.”
The report comes ahead of Prince Harry upcoming trip to his home country to attend the WellChild Awards, a charity he has been a patron to for 16 years.
