Chinese National Day: Punjab CM launches Golden Week celebrations

Lahore: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced the Golden Week celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.

The CM extended heartfelt congratulations to the government and people of China on the occasion of their 75th National Day.

She conveyed her best wishes to President Xi Jinping and his fellow leaders, acknowledging the significant milestone with warm regards.

In her congratulatory message, delivered at the commencement of the Golden Week celebrations marking the 75th anniversary of the People’s Republic of China, the chief minister expressed that the people of Punjab stand in solidarity with their Chinese counterparts during this joyous time.

She remarked that China and Pakistan share an exemplary relationship, describing them as ideal neighbors, steadfast friends, and invaluable partners. Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized that the enduring friendship between the two nations is a well-established reality, not only at the governmental level but also deeply rooted among the people.

She lauded China’s instrumental role in supporting the growth and stability of Pakistan’s economy, further highlighting the mutual commitment of both countries toward the ongoing development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a key project fostering bilateral cooperation.

The chief minister acknowledged China’s significant contributions to global human development, noting that it has consistently promoted a vision of shared progress and a brighter future for all nations.
