Bilawal hails SHC order.Krachi: PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has hailed the Sindh High Court (SHC) ruling on a petition filed against the proposed 26th Amendment Bill, noting that the provincial high court has reaffirmed the fact that the judiciary cannot stop parliament from making laws.

Taking to X after a division bench of the SHC dismissed the plea filed by some lawyers against the amendment package, Bilawal on Monday said the court had dealt a blow to “the unfortunate” petitioners who had “presented themselves as lawyers”.

“In its judgment, the SHC pointed out that the petitioners failed to explain which article of the Constitution compels the government to meet their demands. According to Articles 70 to 77 of the Constitution, no permission is required for legislation,” he said.
